Binance is a popular platform where you can buy crypto like Bitcoin and Ethereum and I will show you how easy it is to purchase crypto with a few simple steps.
You will need to obviously register and create a free account with Binance first before you can start buying crypto and you can click the link below to sign up.
Okay once you have registered with Binance and it should only take a couple of minutes, the homepage should look like the image below. It's okay to feel intimidated at first but don't worry it's pretty simple once you get used to it.
Then I want you to navigate over to the 'Buy Crypto on the top left corner of the page. I would recommend using Credit/ Debit Card as it's by far the easiest way to deposit money into your account.
Next, you can select your native currency and coin you wish to purchase in the box that looks like the image below. You can choose to purchase any coin that is available for the dropdown list. There is a minimum deposit of £15 and maximum deposit of £4,000.
Once you have selected the amount that you have chosen to purchase you will be asked to enter your bank account details and confirm your home address.
Then you will be asked to confirm your order. For example, I chose to purchase £15 worth of Bitcoin for this exercise and I paid a transaction fee of £0.31. This is a standard 2.07% transaction fee.
Once you have clicked confirmed allow a few minutes for your purchase appear in your portfolio.
To access your portfolio click on the 'Wallet' button on the top right and select 'Fiat and Spot' and it will direct you to your portfolio.
Well done! You have now bought your first crypto with Binance. I would recommend navigating around the site to familiarise yourself and get yourself used to the platform before you start trading which I will cover in future posts.
